I’m Angela, the founder, and owner of Grace & Peace Gifts. The seed of this business was planted almost 17 years ago when I poured my first candle. The joy and satisfaction that I felt mixing scents and choosing jars was indescribable but I was a new mom and I wasn't sure if I could help support my family with my hobby. So, I boxed up my thermometer and melting pot and focused on a “real” career.
After serving 25 years as a public school educator, I had no plans of changing careers until I received a breast cancer diagnosis in August of 2021. I never imagined the toll that this disease would take on every part of my life, including my ability to excel at my job the way I was accustomed to. Needless to say, the following months were extremely difficult, but I was surrounded by an amazing village of warriors who prayed for me, selflessly altered their lives to ensure my well-being, and daily met my every need. In addition to their support, I experienced unthinkable Grace & Peace from the written Word of God. In the midst of my darkest days, I was able to find comfort because I knew that I wasn't alone. I want to offer this same solace to others who are experiencing similar seasons in their life.
So, I have courageously decided to move forward with my dream to open my own gift business. My hope is that through the creation of my new business, you will experience God’s Grace & Peace by giving and receiving beautiful handcrafted gifts of the highest quality. Each gift comes with scriptures from the written Word that have proven to be alive and active and life-giving in my own life.
There isn’t enough space to type or enough words to speak that can convey how very blessed and grateful I am to be here. So, I will pour my blessings, gratitude, and love into each handcrafted candle, personally designed greeting card, and set of wax melts. Here’s to praying that you are encouraged.
